Aluna (“the app”) is developed by Brinklabs (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains how Aluna handles your information.
Summary
Aluna is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require an account, we do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
Information We Collect
Aluna stores the following data locally on your device only:
Micro-journal entries you write Check-in and mood responses App preferences and settings (e.g. theme, reminder settings)
This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we do not have access to it. It stays on your device unless you choose to export or back it up yourself.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
[If/when enabled] Aluna may use anonymous, aggregated analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand how features are used and to identify crashes, so we can improve the app. This data does not include your journal content or check-in responses, and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent any user data to third parties.
Data Retention
We do not store or retain any user data on our servers, as Aluna does not use a server or backend. All data (journal entries, check-in responses, and app settings) is stored exclusively and indefinitely on your local device, for as long as the app remains installed.
You can delete this data at any time by:
Uninstalling the app, which permanently deletes all locally stored data, or [If applicable] Deleting individual entries or all data within the app via Settings
We do not retain any copy of your data anywhere, at any time.
Children’s Privacy
Aluna is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
